Information Sessions

General information walk-in sessions are held every Wednesday and Thursday from 3:30 to 4:20 at the Study Abroad Office.   In addition, eight additional Study Abroad 101 General Info sessions are scheduled after the Sept 3 Study Abroad Fair.  See the calendar for dates, times, and locations.  These info sessions are for students who are just starting to explore study abroad options at Purdue.

Other appointments can be made in advance through the Study Abroad Office by email or by calling 494-2383.

Interested in studying overseas next semester but don’t know how and where to start?  Then come to one of eight Study Abroad 101 sessions scheduled this semester. We will discuss program types, eligibility requirements, the application process, factors to consider in choosing the program that’s right for you, and others. Please consult the Study Abroad Calendar for dates, times, and location. 

These general information sessions are not for students who: 

- already have spoken with a study abroad advisor

- are seeking additional information about specific programs

- have questions about their study abroad application

- are on “Applied” or “Approved” status

Students who belong to the category described above should call the Study Abroad Office at 494-2383 for an appointment with a study abroad advisor.
